Just a little bit about us. Reliable has been around since 1938. However, it has been family owned and operated since 1971. Every employee here is family. We are grateful to be here and look forward to many more years.
Mr. Alton Bass is the man who started the family company in 1971. He ran the company up until he retired in 2001. In 2001 Alton's son Ken Bass took over. Alton passed away in November of 2022. He is dearly missed and his legacy is very important to us here at Reliable.
Mr. Ken Bass (current owner/president) took over in 2001. Ken has been in the HVACR business for 48 years and counting. When Ken isn't working you can find him at a basketball or soccer game one of his grandsons are playing in, or a dance recital or competition his granddaughter is in. Ken is married to his best friend Kathlene, they have been married 46 years.
Craig Bass has been around Reliable since he could walk. He is Ken's son. He spent summers working with his Grandpa and Dad if he wasn't playing basketball. He's been in the HVACR field for 27 years. Craig is married to his favorite person in the world Chelsea. They have been married for 16 years and have a 13 year old daughter Kynlee. He says, "It's awesome we have customers who have been with us since 1971. They have become family."
Hannah Elmore is Ken's daughter. She is the person you talk to when you give us a call. She's been around the shop for a long time as well. Hannah is married to Patrick Elmore and they have 4 boys, Austin (21), Payton (19), Leland (18), Eli (15). When Hannah isn't working at the office she is busy getting Eli to basketball practice or games, she also enjoys volunteering to help out with Noble basketball and soccer teams.
